Account Management
Creating an account
You can create a FluxStore account with an email and password, or through single sign on (SSO).
Email registration. Go to fluxstore.net and sign up with your email and a password (minimum 8 characters). Then verify your email by clicking the link sent to your inbox. The verification link expires after 24 hours, but you can request a new one from the login page.
SSO registration. Click any provider icon on the sign up page to authenticate directly. FluxStore supports Discord, Google, GitHub, Microsoft, and Minecraft (via Xbox Live). Your account is created automatically on first login.
We recommend signing up with SSO. It’s faster, more secure, and you don’t need to manage another password.
Invite codes
During invite only periods, you’ll need a valid invite code to register. Enter it on the sign up page when prompted. Invite codes are single use. Once redeemed, they cannot be shared.
Linked providers
You can link additional SSO providers to your account from Account Settings > Linked Accounts. This lets you sign in with whichever provider is convenient. You can also unlink providers from the same page.
You must always have at least one login method. If you registered via SSO and have no password set, add a password or link another provider before unlinking your only SSO connection.
Passwords
You can change your password from Account Settings > Security. If you registered via SSO and never set a password, use the Set Password option to add one.
Two factor authentication
FluxStore supports TOTP based two factor authentication through any standard authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.). With 2FA enabled, even if your password is compromised, an attacker cannot access your account without your authenticator device.
To enable it, go to Account Settings > Security and click Enable 2FA. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (or enter the setup key manually), then confirm by entering the six digit code it generates. On success, you’ll be shown a set of one time recovery codes.
Save your recovery codes somewhere safe. They are the only way to regain access if you lose your authenticator device. FluxStore support cannot bypass 2FA.
Recovery codes
Recovery codes are generated when you enable 2FA. Each code can only be used once. You can regenerate them at any time from Account Settings > Security by clicking Regenerate Recovery Codes and confirming with your current TOTP code. Regenerating immediately invalidates all previous codes.
Signing in with 2FA
After entering your password (or completing SSO), you’ll be prompted for a six digit code from your authenticator app. If you don’t have access to your authenticator, click Use a recovery code and enter one of your saved codes.
Disabling 2FA
To disable 2FA, go to Account Settings > Security, click Disable 2FA, and confirm with your current TOTP code.
SSO security
If you sign in through an SSO provider, your FluxStore account is only as secure as that provider account. Enable 2FA on your SSO providers (Discord, Google, GitHub, Microsoft) as well, and review your linked accounts periodically under Account Settings > Linked Accounts.
FluxStore 2FA works alongside SSO. Both the SSO login and the TOTP check must pass before access is granted, giving you an extra layer of protection.
