Store Deletion

This action is irreversible. All store data including orders, products, and customer data will be permanently deleted.

Before You Delete

Deletion is permanent. Consider whether one of these alternatives fits your situation better:

  • Maintenance mode: takes your store offline while you make changes. Enable it from Store Settings > Maintenance. See Maintenance Mode.

If you’re sure you want to delete, read on.

Deleting Your Store

Go to Dashboard > Store Settings > General, scroll to the Danger Zone at the bottom, and click Delete Store. You’ll be asked to type your store name to confirm.

What Gets Deleted

  • All products, categories, and coupons
  • All orders and payment history
  • All customer data associated with the store
  • Your subdomain and slug (released for others to claim)
  • Any custom domain connection
  • Active subscriptions (cancelled, but no automatic refunds are issued)

If you have active subscriptions or pending orders, resolve them before deleting your store. Deleting a store does not automatically issue refunds.
